Second Grade at Shaker Lane - Room 202

We are going to be doing some fun pumpkin math activities and looking for some volunteers to come in and help us on Wed. October 25th (1:30-2:30pm) and some folks to send in supplies. We had tons of fun with pumpkins today in room 202! We were measuring weight, height and circumference, counting ribs, estimating and counting seeds, guessing if the pumpkin floated or sank, and more! Thanks to our helpful parents who came in to assist too! Helping each other weigh pumpkins. Working on pumpkin literary characters! There were many more seeds than we had thought!
