Hi there! For those of you who are new to using Scholastic.com or those who want to learn more about navigating their website to find affordable books at your child's reading level or books that match their interests, check out this short  six minute video! Thank you.

Encouraging reading is one of the most important things we can do to help your child succeed. It can be tough finding the right books to keep them interested, which is why I am so excited that our class will be participating in Scholastic Reading Club this school year. I am sending home several reading club fliers today. Orders are due no later than THURSDAY September 14. Your child can also order from dozens of other fliers by logging in online. You can also order by returning one of the paper order forms and check written out to Scholastic ( no cash please). We will place an order in November or December too so if you want to order books for holiday gifts you have two chances. There are science books, chapter books, picture books, $1 deals and more! If you would like to order something for your child, see the flyer, go online,  and there are thousands of books (even for younger and older siblings) and usually are at affordable prices! Hi everyone! Just a reminder you can order from the Scholastic book order at any time. They have great affordable literature for students  and any time you order our class gets credits to earn things like  free books and classroom supplies! Hi everyone! We are sending home some book order flyers today. You can place your order by returning the flyers with your selected items checked off and a check written to scholastic or go online and order (may be easier and you have access to tons more books!) The website is https://orders.scholastic.com/DXDDG .  DXDDG is the class activation code FYI for those you who have never ordered online. It is a great way to get some affordable books for your child and support your child's classroom as we earn free books and points towards classroom supplies (maybe more staplers! :)   )  Orders will be open until April 3 and I will process them on April 4.
